Sollicitée par son homologue de La Réunion suite au
Chicoungounia, la branche saisonniers de l’UMIH,
par la voix de son Président Jean-François Serazin et son Vice-Président
Jean-Marie Ahar, indique
que la métropole est prête
à accueillir les saisonniers réunionnais en manque
de travail. Effet tangible
d’un partenariat entre
la CNARM (Comité National d’Accueil et d’Actions pour les Réunionnais en Mobilité), l’ANT (Agence Nationale
pour l’Insertion
et la Promotion
des Travailleurs d’Outre-Mer) et l’UMIH, cette annonce manifeste «notre solidarité nationale à destination de professionnels qualifiés qui pourraient aussi profiter de leur séjour en métropole pour parfaire leur formation pendant l’intersaison». Concrètement, au regard
du manque de personnel
qui touche l’hexagone, «quatre-vingt professionnels réunionnais pourraient
facilement être absorbés, sachant que dix d’entre
eux, dernièrement arrivés, ont déjà trouvé un poste». Cuisiniers, personnels
de salle et d’étage sont donc les bienvenus comme les profils plus polyvalents
(salle/étage, salle/office, réception/bar…).
